Why?

Paul Verryn is being “dealt with” for trying to help the Zimbabweans.

He is being hung out to dry by the Methodist Church that he served for so long.

Paul Verryn is a Christian person who walks the Christian walk.

Way forward

Paul Verryn exercises the option for the poor. He is a liberation-theologist-in-action.

In recent years his mission for the Zimbabweans at the Central Methodist Church in Johannesburg, where he is Bishop (now suspended), is what has caused him trouble, including this latest trouble.

He did not turn away those in need. Others, who could have helped, left him to struggle alone with this problem. Doors were closed to the poor, while his was open.

It is time to share the responsibility, defend the Zimbabweans, and provide for them.

Let Paul Verryn not be crucified alone. Let his work be defended. By doing so, we will also be defending the man. In any case, please join the Friends of Paul Verryn and discuss.

Please pass on this e-mail and/or conscientise your Facebook friends about the Friends of Paul Verryn.
